Technologies

• For complete harmony, three patented technologies come together: the permanent support of the MOOV® waist belt on your hips, Double-Strap shoulder harnesses, and an ergonomic back panel adapted to the trekker’s build. These innovations ensure optimal weight transfer to the hips, delivering superior carrying comfort.

Reinforced Waist Belt

• Trekking often involves carrying heavier loads for an extended period. CiLAO specially equips its packs with a semi-rigid waist belt structure to better shift the load onto the hips. This design preserves waist support and boosts comfort.

Load Adjuster Straps

• With its large 87-liter capacity, the MANAPANY 40D features compression straps on the waist belt. They help transfer the pack’s weight onto the lower back and keep it snug against your body for remarkable comfort. The shoulder straps on the ERMITAGE 30D and MANAPANY 40D also feature load adjuster straps.

WATERPROOFING & DURABILITY

To ensure long-lasting performance, our trekking range is crafted using materials designed for challenging terrain and weather conditions. All fabrics used in our packs are waterproof (1500 Schmerber), seams are stitched with hydrophobic thread, and zippers are fully sealed.

VENTILATION

Unlike most standard designs, CiLAO reduces contact points on the back panel. To enhance airflow, we’ve added a large central channel, and the back padding is made from fast-drying polyester.

ACCESSIBILITY

Each pack has a generous L-shaped opening on the right side, secured by two waterproof zippers (YKK 7mm): one on top and another on the left side. This system makes it quick and easy to access your gear, simplifies packing, and keeps the closure in a straight line to avoid wear.

FEATURES

Lightness guides the design of CiLAO backpacks. They’re crafted to be intuitive, functional, and contain only what’s essential.

Tent Holder

Attach a tent or sleeping mat by using the built-in webbing loops on the front of the pack and the two supplied CLIP STRAP straps.

Pole/Ice Axe Holders

Adjustable elastic cords on the front of the pack make it easy to secure one or more pairs of trekking poles or ice axes.

Document Pocket

A hidden accessory pocket, accessible only from inside the pack, keeps personal documents safely out of sight.

Front Pocket

ERMITAGE packs include a 10L front pocket for quick access to smaller gear.

Multi-Purpose Compression Straps

Two horizontal compression straps help reduce pack volume or attach extra gear. The strap buckles are compatible with each other and with CLIP STRAP and FIX STRAP products.

OPTIONS

Waist Belt Pocket: ZIPPED POCKET

Offered in three sizes, this removable zippered pouch attaches to CiLAO waist belts via Velcro.

Rain Cover: RAINCOVER ULTRA LIGHT

Sold separately, the ultra-light, compact RAINCOVER ULTRALIGHT provides perfect long-term waterproof protection for your pack.

Additional Straps: CLIP STRAP & FIX STRAP

You can accessorize your pack thanks to the built-in webbing loops and these complementary products. Sold separately, they let you secure various types of gear: tent, sleeping mat, rope, and more.
