Developed for and with the most demanding mountain guides, the VACOA 30 airbag does not compromise safety.

Designed specifically for ski touring and off-piste skiing, it is equipped with a double safety system: the AIRBAG REACTOR and the Extraction Aid System (SAE). Its independent airbag pocket makes it the most reliable bag on the market: 100% opening in all circumstances, even lying on the back.

Resistant and reliable, it offers a rare capacity of 30 liters actually available for a weight of 1900g.

Minimalist, it is perfectly accessorized for the activity: ski rack, ice axe holder, rope rack and a compartment inside to accommodate excavator and probe independently. And like our entire range, you will find the CiLAO know-how that have made our reputation: airy ergonomic back, double-stranded shoulder straps®, padded belt...

The airbag backpack is an essential equipment for off-piste skiing, which complements the essential trio: DVA, shovel and probe. It increases the chances of survival when an avalanche is triggered.

Equipment & features

* REACTOR Dual Airbag System

The French REACTOR system is the most powerful on the market. The ball is stowed outside the bag in a compartment with an “Explode” closure, which does not affect the volume of the bag. It has two 75-litre independent compartments.

* SAE (Extraction Aid System)

Resistant to 300kg, it is composed of an ultra-visible extraction handle and two subcutal straps that can be stored and adjustable.

* Double Strand Straps ®

They are compatible with the trigger handle (installed right or left). They are accessorized with an adjustable chest strap with a whistle and a pipette guide.

* Padded belt for added comfort

* Ergonomic ventilated back

Available in 3 sizes (S/ M/ L), it adapts to all statures

* 2 compression straps per side / ski rack

They allow to wear skis and split laterally and adjust the volume of the bag

* Ice axe holder

Designed to be able to draw the «bag on the back» ice axe quickly, their handling is easy, even with gloves
